• No account, login, or email is required to use the BAH calculator.
• The ZIP, pay grade, and dependency status you enter are processed in your browser to show your result. They are not transmitted to us or tied to your identity.
• We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

What we collect

Information you enter: calculator inputs (ZIP, grade, dependents) are used only to compute and display your result on your device. If you choose to share a result, those values may be encoded in the URL you generate — that link is created by you and shared at your discretion.

Contact information: if you email us, we receive your email address and message so we can reply. We use it for that purpose only.

Analytics: we may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which pages are useful (for example, page-view counts). Any analytics are configured to avoid collecting personally identifiable information where possible.

Cookies

The core calculator functions without advertising or tracking cookies. If we use any cookies, they are limited to essential or aggregate-analytics purposes. You can block cookies in your browser settings without breaking the calculator.

Third-party links

We link to official government sites (DTMO, DFAS, VA, Military OneSource) and may link to relevant partners. Those sites have their own privacy policies; we are not responsible for their practices. See our disclaimer.

Your choices

Because we do not build user profiles, there is generally nothing to delete. If you have emailed us and want your message removed from our inbox, just ask at [email protected].
